Job Description
Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Festus, MO! This is a 3+ months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Role:Phlebotomist II
Location: Festus, MO 63028
Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Central Time)
Hours per Week: 40hours
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $24-25/hour (Based on years of experience & education)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures.
- Verify patient demographics and obtain patient signatures after specimen collection to ensure labeling accuracy.
- Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection as required.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while creating a positive patient experience.
- Travel to other Patient Service Centers or physician offices if needed.
- Support workflow efficiency in a high-volume clinical setting.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
- Minimum 1–3 years of phlebotomy experiencerequired
- Experience with:
- Pediatric collections
- Geriatric collections
- Capillary collections
Note: Local candidates within 20-25 miles are eligible.
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
