Photography & Inventory Intern
Do you love capturing details through a lens? Are you interested in hands-on experience working with luxury boats and professional inventory photography? The Boat House is looking for a Photography & Inventory Intern to join our team and support our inventory operations by capturing high-quality photos and videos of our new and pre-owned boat inventory. The selected intern will report to the Cape Coral location.
About the RoleAs our Photography & Inventory Intern, you'll play an important role in how our boats are presented to customers online and in our sales systems. This role is focused exclusively on inventory support - capturing, editing, and uploading accurate photos and videos of boats using the Impel.io platform to ensure our listings are professional, consistent, and up to date.
What You'll Do
Photograph and video new and pre-owned boats at dealership locations using the Impel.io app
Capture detailed images that accurately reflect vessel condition, features, and presentation standards
Edit and review photos to ensure quality, clarity, and consistency
Upload and update inventory images and videos in inventory systems and online listings
Organize and maintain the digital photo and video library for inventory records
Coordinate with sales and inventory teams to prioritize units and meet posting timelines
Follow established imaging standards and inventory presentation guidelines
What We're Looking For
Passion for photography and visual documentation
Familiarity with DSLR, mirrorless cameras, or mobile photography tools
Basic photo editing skills (Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar tools preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent, high-quality images
Organized, dependable, and able to manage deadlines independently
Comfortable working around boats in indoor and outdoor environments
Bonus: An interest in boats and the marine lifestyle
- Ability to work 15-20 hours per week.
