Job Description

We are seeking a Physical Security Designer to work in our Albany or Rochester, NY office and assist in the preparation of construction documents and shop drawings for security related projects. This position requires Revit and AutoCAD proficiency and will work closely with engineering staff and clients to develop drawings, specifications, and reports for physical security projects.

Responsibilities

  • Work with other engineers as part of a Project Team to develop physical security concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports for systems including Access Control, Intrusion and Perimeter Detection, CCTV, Duress systems, and Integration of multiple systems.
  • Prepare physical security drawings and details using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Create schedules, tables, and reports using Microsoft Office
  • Perform field investigations to document existing conditions.
  • Improve current knowledge of technologies and trends, as they apply to the applicable project and market types, and continually strengthens skills.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000 per year
