Position Summary

BrightStar Home Care of Albuquerque is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services that help clients regain strength, improve mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life.

This role offers flexibility, independence, and the chance to make a meaningful impact through one-on-one patient care in a home setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out individualized treatment plans.

  • Deliver physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders and care plans.

  • Observe, record, and report client progress and response to treatment.

  • Educate clients and families on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety practices.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with BrightStar and state regulations.

  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in every interaction.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of New Mexico.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience 

  • Current CPR certification.

  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.

  • A passion for providing quality care and improving clients' lives.
