Job SummaryThe Physical Therapist Assistant will provide direct support in the treatment of patients receiving outpatient rehabilitation services. Working closely with the Physical Therapist, this position focuses on implementing established plans of care, assisting patients with exercises and therapeutic activities, and tracking progress throughout the course of treatment. This role is well suited for a PTA who values a predictable clinic schedule, one-on-one patient interaction, and a professional environment built around quality care.

Responsibilities

• Implement patient treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with exercises, stretching, and functional activities
• Observe patient response during sessions and report updates
• Maintain timely and accurate treatment documentation
• Support clinic flow by keeping treatment spaces prepared
• Help patients perform exercises safely and correctly

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• Active New Jersey PTA license
• Prior outpatient experience preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
