Independence Rehab is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support our therapy team at Cascades of Bend, a lovely assisted living facility located in Bend, Oregon. In this role, you will treat patients on-site on an outpatient basis. This is a great job for a therapist who needs work scheduling flexibility, and is looking to pick up 5-15 hours per week.
If you enjoy working with older adults, value flexibility, and want to be part of a supportive clinical team, this is a great PRN opportunity.
What You'll Do
As a PRN PTA, you'll provide hands-on, functional therapy to a geriatric population, including:
• Gait and mobility retraining• Transfer training across all levels of assistance• Strengthening, balance, and fall prevention• Supporting patients with medically complex conditions• Collaborating with the supervising PT on care progression• Working alongside nursing, OT, and speech to support whole-person recovery

PRN Flexibility
This role is designed to work around your availability.
There is no required minimum number of hours, and additional PRN opportunities may be available at nearby locations if you'd like more consistency.
Requirements
• Active PTA license in good standing• Graduate of an accredited PTA program• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes• SNF experience preferred (one year ideal), but not required
