What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide exceptional patient care and help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities include:

Implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
Providing therapeutic exercises, interventions, and modalities
Monitoring patient progress and reporting changes to the supervising therapist
Educating patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques
Maintaining accurate documentation and patient records
Ensuring a safe and organized treatment environment
Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver the highest quality care

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
Current Maine PTA license in good standing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a healthcare team
Passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
