Physical Therapist Compensation

· The pay for this position is $75.50 per hour

· Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

· A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Physical Therapist Highlights

· This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

· The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm EST

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

·         Performs physical therapy evaluations and treatments based on physician orders and referrals

·         Completes comprehensive evaluations using appropriate assessment tools and procedures

·         Reviews patient records including diagnosis, medical history, precautions, and contraindications

·         Establishes measurable goals and develops individualized treatment plans

·         Reassesses patient progress and modifies treatment plans as needed

·         Communicates patient needs and progress with physicians, care teams, patients, and family members

·         Consults with medical providers regarding evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge planning

·         Recommends and assists in obtaining adaptive equipment to improve patient function

·         Maintains accurate and timely documentation for evaluations, treatments, and billing

·         Ensures compliance with HIPAA, company policies, and state/federal regulations

·         Supervises Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Aides

·         Participates in staff development, meetings, and continuing education

Physical Therapist Requirements

·         Active Kentucky Physical Therapist License or Compact LicenseAbility to travel within Boyd, Greenup, Lawrence, Carter, and Elliot CountiesStrong communication, documentation, and clinical skills

·         High School Diploma or GED

·         Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Physical Therapist Preferred Qualifications

·         At least 1 year of home health physical therapy experience

·         Experience with OASIS documentation

·         Familiarity with Homecare Homebase
