Physical Therapist (PT) – School-Based | ESY Summer | Bangor, ME | Travel Stipend | $45–$60/hr

Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based, pediatric ESY (Extended School Year) summer position in Bangor, Maine and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for PTs seeking school-based experience, pediatric therapy, or flexible summer work.

We welcome new grads, experienced Physical Therapists, and retired PTs.

Job Details – Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Bangor, ME and surrounding areas
Position Type: ESY / Summer / Contract
Schedule: Flexible ESY schedule (part-time or full-time opportunities)
Pay: $45–$60 per hour (based on experience)
Setting: School-based / Public schools (K–12)
Bonus:Travel stipend provided

Physical Therapist (PT) Responsibilities

Provide school-based physical therapy to pediatric students (K–12)
Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
Write and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
Deliver direct therapy services (individual and group sessions)
Improve student mobility, strength, balance, and coordination
Collaborate with special education teams, OTs, SLPs, and teachers
Attend IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive technology
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes

Qualifications – Physical Therapist (PT)

Active Maine Physical Therapist license required
Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or equivalent)
Interest or experience in pediatrics, schools, or special education preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
