Overview:
Due to growth, Bone & Joint is now hiring an occasional Physical Therapists for Outpatient Orthopedics focused positions in Wausau, WI.
Caseload / Patient Population:
Physical Therapists see patients 1 on 1 for their entire treatment session, no passing of patients to an aide or doubling of patients. The caseload is primarily general orthopedics with around 50% post-op care, all ages. PTs are well respected in the organization and have the opportunity to collaborate with physicians on a regular basis so patients receive the best care possible.
Patient Scheduling:
Physical Therapists average about 9-10 patients/day due to cancellations. No use of aides.
Work Hours:
Enjoy excellent work/life balance with this full-time position. No weekends or holidays. Variable hours within Clinic operation times of 7am-6 pm, Monday-Friday.
Job Requirements:
- Graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (or equivalent standing).
- Eligible for Wisconsin state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Occasional coverage to cover vacations, or FMLA, or during peaks of higher patient volume.
- Prior experience is not required. New Grad PTs are welcome.
