Physical Therapist
Location: Stamford, CT (Full-Time)Salary: $120,000–$140,000/year Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Summary This role is designed for a Physical Therapist who values clinical structure and outcome-based care. You will assess movement impairments, create targeted treatment strategies, and provide skilled therapy that supports recovery and long-term function. Clear documentation and patient communication are essential to success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Complete evaluations, establish goals, and outline a plan of care
- Deliver one-on-one treatment sessions using evidence-based techniques
- Use therapeutic exercise and functional training to improve strength and mobility
- Provide manual therapy as clinically appropriate
- Monitor outcomes, update documentation, and adjust plans as needed
- Coordinate with physicians, case managers, or other providers when required
- Maintain professional standards for safety, ethics, and documentation
Requirements
- DPT from an accredited physical therapy program
- Connecticut PT license in good standing (or eligible to obtain)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience treating orthopedic conditions preferred
- Strong patient communication skills and attention to detail
