Physical Therapist
Location: Hartford, CT (Full-Time)Salary: $120,000–$140,000/year Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
SummaryIn this outpatient Physical Therapist role, you will deliver skilled treatment designed to improve strength, mobility, and functional independence. You will create clear plans of care, support patients through progressive rehab, and maintain documentation that meets clinical and payer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients, identify limitations, and set functional goals
- Develop individualized plans of care and treatment timelines
- Administer therapeutic exercise, mobility work, and functional training
- Educate patients on home routines and safe activity progression
- Track progress, update goals, and coordinate plan changes as needed
- Document visits accurately and on time
- Support a positive clinic flow through teamwork and communication
Requirements
- DPT from an accredited physical therapy program
- Connecticut PT license in good standing (or eligible to obtain)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience treating orthopedic conditions preferred
- Strong patient communication skills and attention to detail
