Contract Details
- Position Type: Contract (Travel/Allied)
- Contract Duration: 6 months
- Pay Rate: $70.24 $74.24 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: 5x8 or 4x10 Days- Traveler's Choice
- Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks (traveler can be called off for 1 ten-hour shift per 2 weeks)
- Travel Requirements: Locals not accepted candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Job Summary
This is a travel Physical Therapist opportunity at a Critical Access Hospital that sees patients of all ages and diagnoses. The Therapy department serves outpatients, inpatients, and SNF patients, as well as wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric specialties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services across Outpatient, Acute Care, and SNF settings (float within scope to meet facility needs)
- Treat patients of all ages and diagnoses within a Critical Access Hospital environment
- Support specialty service areas including wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric therapy
Education Requirements
- AK License (Alaska Physical Therapist License) Required
- BLS Certification Required
- Pending License: Not accepted
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
- First-time travelers accepted
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Experience with Pediatrics and/or Adolescents (preferred, not required)

Important Notes
- Housing: The facility provides housing to travelers during the assignment. Housing units are typically 1-bedroom apartments.
- Housing will be available for move-in no earlier than 72 hours before contract begins and no longer than 24 hours after contract ends.
- PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED in housing units.
- Housing units are typically large enough to accommodate only the traveler. Bringing additional family members is not common and must be approved by the facility.
- Housing units must be cleaned upon departure or additional cleaning fees will be billed to the traveler.
