Physical Therapist - PRNIndependence Rehab is proud to partner with Sunny Ridge Care Center in Nampa. We are currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our team at Sunny Ridge!

We need a therapist who is passionate about geriatric care, values strong outcomes, and wants to be part of a supportive, collaborative, people-first organization.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility training• Complete evaluations, progress notes, recertifications, and discharge documentation• Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants• Provide patient and family education related to mobility, safety, and fall prevention• Collaborate closely with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team• Assist with coverage needs for vacations, fluctuating census, and higher-acuity caseloads

Requirements

• Current Idaho Physical Therapist license in good standing• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program• Organized, self-starter who enjoys working with the geriatric population

Preferred:At least one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility. That said-if you are a caring, passionate, licensed therapist who loves working with older adults, we would still love to hear from you.
