Physical Therapist - Full Time

What You'll Do
Float between 2-3 of our skilled nursing facilities, depending upon your availability:
- Oak Creek Rehab in Kimberly
- Desert View Care Center in Buhl
- Twin Falls Transitional Care Center
- Lincoln County Care Center in Shoshone
Evaluate patients and developing individualized treatment plans
Occasionally treat clinically complex patients
Perform gait training and therapeutic exercise programs
Provide balance training and fall-prevention interventions
Complete wheelchair and equipment assessments
Perform and assisting with all types of transfers
Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies
Supervise a PTA
Collaborate closely with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team
If you'd like additional support with any competencies, we are happy to provide training and mentorship.

Requirements
Current Idaho PT license in good standing
Minimum Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Organized, self-starter who enjoys working with the geriatric population
Ability to supervise a PTA
Preferred:
At least one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility. That said-if you are a caring, passionate, licensed therapist who loves working with older adults, we would still love to hear from you.
