Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Current, active Maryland Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting.
- Experience communicating treatment plans and progress to in-house and specialty physicians, such as orthopedic and hand surgeons.
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and assist colleagues in identifying patient issues.
- Preferred: prior outpatient ortho experience and familiarity with standard clinic documentation systems.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Pattern: 5x8, 08:00–17:00, Monday through Friday.
- Duration: 14 week assignment.
- Caseload: Outpatient orthopedic musculoskeletal injuries; work with a team of therapists and report to treating physicians.
