Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Current, active Maryland Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting.
• Experience communicating treatment plans and progress to in-house and specialty physicians, such as orthopedic and hand surgeons.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and assist colleagues in identifying patient issues.
• Preferred: prior outpatient ortho experience and familiarity with standard clinic documentation systems.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8, 08:00–17:00, Monday through Friday.
• Duration: 14 week assignment.
• Caseload: Outpatient orthopedic musculoskeletal injuries; work with a team of therapists and report to treating physicians.
