Job Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Concord, NH
Shift/Schedule: 8-Hour Evenings (Monday–Friday, 08:00 – 16:30)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Start Date: 04/06/2026End Date: 07/05/2026
Department: Physical Therapy – Inpatient
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient evaluations and re-evaluations, documenting in accordance with licensure and department standards
- Apply knowledge of chronic illness impact on patients, considering age, physical, emotional, social, economic, cultural, and vocational status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care
- Review provider orders and relevant medical information (lab values, vital signs, etc.)
- Provide therapy across the hospital as needed, supporting acute care episodes
- Administer formal standardized tests, scales, and tools to assess patient progress
Requirements:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in New Hampshire or Compact License, or willing to obtain temporary license
- Experience in acute care setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
Additional Skills:
- Strong clinical competence in physical therapy evaluation and treatment
- Knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation protocols and safety standards
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
