Job Summary
Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join a supportive rehabilitation team in the Kennebunk, ME area. This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a steady Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend rotation.
The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy services that help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, safety, and overall functional independence.
About This Role
This Physical Therapist role is based in a well-rounded rehabilitation setting that provides skilled nursing, long-term care, outpatient rehabilitation, post-acute rehabilitation, and specialized brain injury and stroke rehabilitation services.
The facility is CARF-accredited and offers access to recreational therapy services and adaptive sports equipment, creating a supportive environment for patients working toward recovery and improved independence.
This role is a strong fit for a Physical Therapist who enjoys working with a variety of patient needs, collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team, and helping patients rebuild strength, mobility, confidence, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
Provide skilled therapy services to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, coordination, and functional independence
Treat patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, stroke, neurological conditions, brain injury, or functional decline
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary care teams
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, safety, mobility, and home exercise programs
Complete documentation accurately and timely
Follow all facility, state, and federal guidelines
Qualifications
Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program required
Skilled nursing, post-acute, outpatient rehab, long-term care, neuro rehab, stroke rehab, or brain injury rehab experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
License and Certification Requirements
Active Maine Physical Therapist license required
PT Compact license/privilege accepted
CPR/BLS certification required
Must be eligible to work in a skilled nursing, post-acute, or rehabilitation setting
Compensation and Schedule
$42–$50 per hour
40 hours per week
Monday–Friday
No weekend rotation
Permanent full-time position
