• Manage a caseload independently, delivering high-quality physical therapy services to a variety of patients.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Serve patients with complex needs, including spinal cord injuries, TBI, strokes, amputees, orthopedic surgeries, sports medicine, pediatrics, and neuro-specific diagnoses.
• Contribute to inpatient rehab, acute care, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Current Louisiana Physical Therapist (PT) license or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a relevant specialty area.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as EPIC, Meditech Expanse, Wellsky, and AOD.
• Strong knowledge of patient diagnoses and treatment modalities listed above.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team.
• Valid driver’s license and appropriate certifications as required.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with first-time travel assignments considered based on experience and skill set.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, or similar.
• Ability to adapt to different clinical environments and equipment.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• At least one year of relevant clinical experience, particularly with medically complex or debilitating patients.

Other Requirements:

• No weekend or holiday work required.
• Attendance at a general hospital orientation and site-specific onboarding (2-3 days).
• No required on-call duties.
• Uniform: Pewter scrubs for inpatient; professional attire for outpatient.
• Free parking provided.
• Start date: April 20, 2026.
• Hourly pay rate of $60.30.
