• Manage a caseload independently for diverse patient populations, including spinal cord injuries, TBI, strokes, amputees, trauma patients, orthopedic surgeries, neuro diagnoses, pediatric development, and medically complex cases.
• Deliver therapy in inpatient rehab, acute care, outpatient, and skilled nursing environments.
• Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Current LA PT or PTA license.
• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in relevant specialty settings.
• Ability to handle a varied caseload independently.
• Proficiency with EMR systems such as EPIC, Meditech Expanse, and Wellsky.
• Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, or others relevant to the role.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with complex, medically fragile, or higher-functioning neurological patients.
• Prior experience in outpatient sports or pediatric therapy.
• Additional certifications or training in specialty areas.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• At least 1+ years of experience working with the specified patient populations.
• Experience in inpatient rehab, acute care, or outpatient settings is preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and insurance if applicable.
• Availability for scheduled daytime hours (generally 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), with no weekend coverage for outpatient and limited overnight or holiday work.
• Participation in general hospital and departmental orientation (2-3 days).
• No on-call requirements; holiday work is not expected.
• Scrub color for inpatient: Pewter; outpatient: professional dress. Parking is free at all facility locations.
