• Valid LA PT license or LA PTA license, depending on the role
• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in specialty settings, including inpatient rehab, acute care, outpatient, or skilled nursing
• Proven ability to independently manage a caseload involving complex diagnoses such as spinal cord injuries, strokes, TBI, amputations, and orthopedic surgeries
• Strong teamwork skills and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, including EPIC, Meditech Expanse, and Wellsky
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills

• Additional certifications such as BLS, ACLS, or NIHSS
• Experience working with pediatric or neuro-specific patient populations
• Ability to adapt to various clinical environments and equipment
• Previous experience in a traveler or float role

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• At least 1 year of experience in relevant healthcare settings, particularly in specialty rehab or acute care environments

Other Requirements

• Current LA PT or PTA license
• Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS) as applicable
• Ability to attend a comprehensive departmental and site-specific orientation (2-3 days)
• Work hours typically from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend coverage for outpatient roles and approximately one weekend per month for inpatient and acute care positions
• No on-call duties or holiday work required
• Wear Pewter scrubs for inpatient and professional attire for outpatient settings
• Free parking available
