Chinese Speaking Physical Therapist Aide Needed for Full Time at an Outpatient Facility in Manhattan, NY!

Physical Therapy Aide Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist rehab staff in maintaining an inventory of rehab supplies and assist rehab director in tracking orders as need arises.
Transport patients to/from waiting room and therapy treatment areas as needed.
Monitors patients during treatment or exercise routines after therapy staff has applied modalities, turned on machines, and provided detailed instructions to the patient.
Aide is under no circumstance allowed to apply modalities, do any hands on care, provide clinical instruction or turn on and off any rehab modality or equipment.
Assists with set-up/clean-up of treatment areas.
Assist therapy staff with patient set-up e.g.; prepare hot packs and towels, machines, equipment or providing any support needed by therapy staff.
Sanitizes rehab equipment in between patient use.
Maintain equipment in a safe and clean manner for treatment use and make minor repairs.
Assists with clerical duties (i.e. copying, faxing, filing, answering phones, etc.).Keeps work area neat and orderly.
Maintains patients' safety during transport and while assisting in treatment area.
Responds well to instructions and guidance, finds solutions to work related problems, and completes assignments independently, not requiring constant supervision.
Attends and participates in required and MANDATORY in-service educational programs, on the job training programs, etc. as directed and/or scheduled.
PT Aide Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- You must be goal oriented self-motivated.
- Highly proficient organizational skills
- Strong computer skills
- Able to pay close attention to details
- Chinese speaking
All rates offered are based on position, years of applicable experience and employment type
Rate ranges shown include levels for per diems with no benefits and Independent Contractors
