Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable PT Aide to join our team full-time at Thrive Health LI. This position is for an energetic, quick-learning, compassionate, and dedicated PT Aide. Applicants must be dependable with reliable transportation, personable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, able to work in a team setting, have strong multi-tasking skills, and have good communication skills.
Job Description:- Instruct, motivate, safeguard, or assist patients in practicing exercises or functional activities under the direction of Physical Therapist.
- Record treatment given and equipment used.
- Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment.
- Observe patients during treatment to compile and evaluate data on patients' responses and progress and report to the Physical Therapist.
- Confer with physical therapy staff or others to discuss and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, or coordinating treatment.
- Arrange treatment supplies to keep them in order.
- Clean and organize the work area and disinfect equipment after treatment.
- Measure the patient's range of joint motion to determine the effects of treatments or for patient evaluations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Personal trainer or Physical therapy aide experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and in a team
- Comfortable working with patients of all ages and backgrounds

- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
