What You'll Do as a Physical Therapist Assistant
As a valued part of our care team, you will:
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy services in accordance with professional standards
- Follow and support the Physical Therapist's established Plan of Care
- Report patient status changes promptly to the supervising PT
- Adhere to all State Practice Act guidelines
- Provide safe, effective instruction on assistive devices
- Teach home exercise programs to patients and caregivers
- Support functional mobility through hands‑on patient care
- Work in a physically demanding environment (lifting 50-100 lbs)
Every visit you make empowers patients to stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home.
What You Need
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Current, unrestricted PTA license in the state of practice
- 6+ months of PTA experience preferred
- Willing and able to travel within the service area (up to 50%)
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license & auto insurance
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients safely
