Are you a Physical Therapy Assistant who wants to genuinely help people without seeing 3-4 patients per hour, working late nights or weekends?
Well, then we may have the right position for you.
Hi, I am Dr. Brittany Wright, Director of Therapy Services at Healing Arts Center. I hope you are okay with me telling you a little about my backstory.
After graduating from PT school... I worked in a few different settings throughout my career.
●      Inpatient
●      Home Health
●      High-Volume Outpatient
And it was always the same (super stressful) story:Evals, units, metrics... Metrics... METRICS!
In all of these settings, I saw PTAs disrespected and over-worked – expected to do the “grunt work” but never appreciated or treated like a valued professional. It just felt wrong…
Then, I came to Healing Arts Center: a multi-specialty Medical Clinic where I was tasked with building a Physical Therapy program from the ground up.
I decided from the start that I would do thingsdifferently…
ALL our therapists would be given Respect and SUPPORT… I refused to lead a team that cared more about metrics than people.
I also decided that we would treat patients in more of a 1-to-1 setting...
... Not 1-to-3 or worse 1-to-Many.
Patientsstarted to trickle in, and they started to get better...QUICKER. We were performing the same manual techniques, the same exercises... But our patients were getting better... quicker... like 3-5x quicker.
It was because the patients had their therapist’s full ATTENTION.
Next, I began to focus on growing our department.
I hope that doesn’t sound too cliché.
Over the past few years, we have been able to help 1000s of local residents, grow our team (in both sizeand skill-sets), and even expand to a second PT campus.
The key "metrics" we pride ourselves on are not volume, number of new patients, or gross revenue.... but our customer satisfaction and staff retention rates.
Most of our staff has been with us for 3+ years after hire, and the ones that do leave typically are the ones who move out of the area.
And for that, we are blessed to have such a great team both here at Healing Arts Center and at Countryside Health & Wellness.
We are now looking for another Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. We strive to see all patients 1-1, no double bookings. No late-night shifts, so you can be home in time for dinner. Several paid holidays so you don’t have to choose between work or family. We offer ongoing mentorship and career advancement opportunities. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package because we believe patient-care starts with valuing our employees.
If you feel like that is something you might be interested in, then submit your application and we can set up a call or time to meet.
I look forward to hearing from you,Dr. Brittany WrightDPT, FMT-C, MFR, CCI, SFMA Healing Arts Center - Director of Therapy Services
Employee Testimonials:
  • Makenzie H., PTA  - "I was hired back in July of 2022 but prior to that I was a long-time patient at the Healing Arts Center. My husband and I recently had our second baby and the amount of support I received throughout my pregnancy was amazing. Everyone was always checking on me to make sure physically and emotionally I was doing okay. Healing Arts isn’t just a place to work, but it’s a place of family and personal growth."
  • Teri S., PTA - "I really enjoy working at Healing Arts. Everyone works as a team member or like a big family and they are there for you professionally and personally. The DPT's are great to work with and they encourage the PTA's to be individuals in our practice and specialties."
  • Shane Z., PT Scheduling Manager - "The staff is fantastic. Everyone is so much like family that it honestly feels like you’re working from home. And what makes it even better is that we have the greatest patients in the world, so it’s simply yet another extension of the family!"
Compensation: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
