Responsibilities
Provide quality physical therapy assistance under CPT guidelines and physician orders.
Assist therapists with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress documentation.
Document all treatment activities accurately in electronic health records.
Monitor patient responses and report changes to the supervising therapist promptly.
Maintain clean, safe treatment areas and comply with infection control standards.
Educate patients on exercises, home programs, and post-therapy self-care instructions.
Support professional development through ongoing learning and applying new techniques.
Demonstrate accountability for personal performance metrics and targets.
Track and update treatment pipelines to forecast patient flow and capacity.
Collaborate with team members to optimize clinic workflows and maximize throughput.
Participate in team meetings to review outcomes, share best practices, and set goals.
Experience/Qualifications
Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant with applicable state licensure.
Proficient CPT-based treatment delivery under physician orders.
Experience documenting in electronic health records with accuracy.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and skill expansion.
Strong ability to monitor patient responses and report changes promptly.
Infection control and safety-compliant facility upkeep.
Target-driven mindset with accountability for personal performance metrics.
Effective patient education on exercises and home programs.
Ability to track treatment pipelines and forecast patient flow.
Collaborative team player with willingness to improve clinic throughput.
