Job Description

Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Retirement CommunityOverview: Join our team as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a rewarding retirement community setting. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential rehabilitative care, improve residents' quality of life, and work in a supportive environment dedicated to patient well-being. Your expertise will directly impact the health and happiness of our senior residents. Pay Package: $40 per hourRequired Skills:
  • Proven experience assisting with therapeutic exercises and treatments under supervision*
  • Ability to evaluate and document patient progress accurately*
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and residents*
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control standards*
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills related to patient care*
  • Current CPR certification (if applicable)
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program*
  • Previous experience working in a senior or retirement community setting*
  • Familiarity with rehabilitation techniques specific to aging populations
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work flexible hours, possibly including weekends or holidays*
  • Must hold and maintain applicable state licensure or registration for Physical Therapy Assistants*
  • No additional certifications required unless specified
