Job Description

Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant – 13 Week ContractOverview: Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant for an immediate 13-week contract in McAlester, OK.   • Valid Oklahoma (or compact state) PTA license
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and patient care protocols
  • Ability to work effectively in an acute care environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Prior experience specializing in acute care settings
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality patient therapy
Other Requirements:
  • Candidates must pass a criminal record check as mandated by state law
  • Shift: 8-hour days
  • No travel or extra licensing requirements specified beyond current PTA license and BLS certification
