We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Notre Dame Health Care Center's Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing facility. As a PTA, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients and helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities:

Physical Therapy Assistant, under the supervision of the Physical Therapist promotes and maintains health of residents/patients by providing physical therapy services and directing resident participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.

Requirements

The Physical Therapy Assistant must be licensed as required in the state of practice (license issued by the State Board of Physical Therapy)-He/she must possess an Associate's degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from an APTA accredited program and accredited by the National Board for Certification in Physical Therapy- Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
