Pine Crest Health and Memory Care is looking for a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant. We are committed to a Culture of Caring, not only for the residents we serve but for our valued employees as well. Pay: $35/hr.
Responsibilities:- Assist the physical therapist in providing treatment to patients- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under the direction of the physical therapist- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities- Assist with patient transfers and mobility- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
Experience:- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation- Knowledge of trigger point therapy, anatomy, and physiology- Experience in occupational health and acute care settings preferred- Familiarity with working in a hospital environment
Skills:- Strong patient care skills, including empathy and active listening- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
