Job Description

Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)Location: Tucson, AZPay: $40/hour

Job Details:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Tucson, AZ. In this role, you will work closely with physical therapists to help patients improve mobility, manage pain, and regain strength following injuries, surgeries, or illnesses.

Schedule:

Weekend requirement: 2 weekend shifts per month
If scheduled on a weekend, one flex day off will be provided during the week

Responsibilities:

Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
Guide patients through exercises and therapy activities as prescribed
Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Ensure all therapy equipment and work areas are clean, safe, and organized
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Requirements:

Current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Arizona
CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in a rehabilitation or hospital setting preferred
