LOOKING TO UTILIZE YOUR SKILLS TO MAKEA DIFFERENCE IN THE WELLBEING OF OTHERS?LOOK NO FURTHER!Tri-State Physical Therapy (TSPT), a division of Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, is seeking a part-time Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our well-established and growing physical therapy Practice in our North Hills office located in McCandless.Aquatic and Fall Prevention experience a plus!Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Adhering to a part-time weekly work schedule of 16 hours in our North Hills office.The primary responsibility will be to assist the Physical Therapists (PT) in carrying out an Aquatic and Fall Prevention Program.Implementing treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the PT.Assisting the PT in carrying out the following therapeutic interventions designed to meet the patients' long-term goals: Posture training, strengthening exercise, endurance/cardiac training, balance exercises, coordination exercises, joint mobility and muscle lengthening, pain relief, functional skills training and community re-entry training.Instructing patients in the use of prescribed equipment if necessary.Preparing daily clinical notes and routine progress reports.Instructing patients and family members regarding in-home exercise programs and activities of daily living.Maintaining confidentiality of all medical record, facility and rehab-related information.Maintaining accurate billing information in accordance with facility procedures daily.Complying with the documentation requirements of the rehab department and facility.Assisting with staff/family member training and education when appropriate by formal and informal in-services, as well as consultations.Reviewing and adhering to the policies and procedures outlined by the facility and Tri-State Physical Therapy.Qualifications:Physical Therapist Assistant education, obtained in a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)-accredited two-year Associate Degree program.Current Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Licensure/Certification.Competency in therapy treatment principles, techniques, materials and equipment utilization.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Good organizational skills.Proficient in navigating through electronic medical records.If you would like to be a Member of our AMAZING Team, please reply here or you may apply on our website, www.tristateortho.com through the Careers tab located in the top right corner of the home page.
