Job Description
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) supports licensed Physical Therapists in delivering skilled therapy services to patients with a wide range of diagnoses. This role focuses on improving patient mobility, independence, and functional outcomes through guided treatment plans and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy to improve patient mobility and function
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising therapist
- Educate patients and families on exercises and rehabilitation techniques
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and progress
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to therapy protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient recovery
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program
- Oregon Physical Therapy Assistant License – Required upon hire
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association) – Required upon hire
- Ability to work under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Client background check required upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient or rehabilitation settings
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Knowledge of therapy techniques and rehabilitation protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
