Job Description
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy degree program; DPT or equivalent.
- Current Louisiana PT license (or eligibility prior to start).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
- Demonstrated interest in acute/ICU care, cardiopulmonary, and/or geriatrics with intent to pursue CCS/GCS.
- Mentorship aligned to CCS and GCS content outlines, including cardiopulmonary and geriatric syndromes.
- Rotations across ICU, step‑down, cardiopulmonary, med‑surg, oncology, transplant, and geriatric co‑management in Greater New Orleans.
- Cadenced didactics, journal clubs, grand rounds, simulation, and case presentations.
- Interprofessional learning with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and care management teams.
- Quality improvement participation and outcomes‑focused projects with system‑level impact.
