Physician Assistant (PA), Surgery, General (days) in Oregon

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in General Surgery to join our team in Oregon. This position offers day-shift hours to support our surgical team in providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

Assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician
Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations
Manage patient care plans and provide patient education
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Participate in rounds and patient consultations

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Current Oregon state PA license
Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Prior experience in General Surgery preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
