We are seeking skilled Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners with expertise in Pain Management to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patient care while working within a supportive environment committed to your professional growth. Position Overview: This role involves providing comprehensive pain management services primarily at our Southwood Medical Center located on the Southside of Jonesboro, GA. Working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. Your expertise will help alleviate pain and improve functionality, serving as a crucial component of our mission to enhance patient well-being. Required Skills: Valid licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Proven experience in Pain Management or related clinical settings Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with pain management protocols and treatment plans Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems Nice to Have Skills: Certification in Pain Management (e.g., BSPM, ABPM) Experience with medication management and injections Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish/English) Comfort with patient education and counseling Knowledge of local and federal healthcare regulations related to pain management Preferred Education and Experience: Master's degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies Minimum of 2 years' experience in pain management or related specialties Active state licenses and board certifications relevant to your role Other Requirements: Ability to work on-site at Southwood Medical Center Willingness to travel for additional training or meetings if required Current BLS/ACLS certification Compliance with all applicable licensure, certification, and healthcare regulations Reliable transportation for potential travel reimbursements This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care.
