Physician - Gastroenterologist (Advanced)

Job Details:

Meritus Health, located in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Full Time Advanced Gastroenterology Physician to join a well-established Gastroenterology office.

• 1 open position to expand ERCP coverage and launch EUS service

• Balanced schedule

• 5 days/week in clinic

• 5 days/week in OR, hospital, or ASC settings

• Full-time hours with dedicated Advanced GI call rotation (separate from general GI call)

• Flexible scheduling options available (e.g., 4-day work week)

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree
• Eligible to obtain state medical license
• Completed an U.S. Internal Medicine residency program
• Completed Gastroenterology fellowship
• Advanced procedural skills in ERCP and EUS
• Board Certified/Eligible

Support & Resources:

• Dedicated practice staff, OR team, and administrative support
• Strong general GI group with high procedural demand (currently scheduling out 4+ months)
• Opportunity to launch EUS services and expand ERCP coverage
• Strategic focus on reducing transfers, improving RVU productivity, and enhancing patient satisfaction

• $675,000 Salary
• $50,000 (Washington County), $7500 (Surrounding area) Relocation Bonus
