Opportunity:

Physician - Oncology

Job Details:

Provide medical oncology coverage in a free-standing cancer center setting
Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
Practice consists of 65% benign hematology and 35% malignant oncology cases
See approximately 25 outpatients per day and 20 inpatients for rounding
Work 4 days per week with 4 weeks of availability each month
Minimum 6-month initial contract commitment required
No call responsibilities during locum period
Participate in tumor board meetings
Manage bone marrow transplant patients
Order diagnostic tests and imaging studies
Prescribe medications and treatment protocols
Work alongside 7 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers
Use EPIC electronic medical record system
Board certification in Hematology/Oncology required
Active South Carolina medical license required
