Opportunity:

Physician - Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

Provide emergency medicine coverage at two facilities with varying shift schedules
Day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Preference for providers who can cover dates at both facilities
Must have active PA license or IMLC with Letter of Qualification
Must be Board Certified in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Department experience or Emergency Medicine Board Certified
Clean malpractice history and NPDB preferred
Required certifications include ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
Emergency Medicine boarded physicians are exempt from BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certification requirements
Level 4 trauma facility with 24-hour support services including anesthesia, surgery, laboratory, and radiology
Handle newborn deliveries in the emergency department
Family medicine skills preferred including gynecology, obstetrics, and pediatric care
Experience with prenatal care, deliveries, and pediatric patients from newborn through adolescent

This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility providing emergency medicine services and family medicine care to the local community. The facility operates as a Level 4 trauma center with full support services available 24 hours including surgical capabilities, laboratory services, and advanced imaging. The emergency department is equipped to handle newborn deliveries and maintains a labor and delivery department, demonstrating its commitment to comprehensive care across all age groups.
