Role Summary:Provide medical direction and oversee participant care under Executive Director supervisionLead Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiativesDevelop and maintain medical policies, procedures, and protocolsSupervise Primary Care Providers (PCPs) and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)Provide leadership and guidance to program colleagues and local providersConduct history and physical exams, develop treatment plans, and manage chronic conditions for frail elderly participantsParticipate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and family conferencesEducate participants and caregivers about health maintenance and medical conditionsParticipate in provider on-call rotation as requiredManage changing priorities and support creative alternative healthcare delivery models️ Key Responsibilities: ️ Medical oversight of participant care and clinical outcomes️ Interview and evaluate applicants and caregivers for PACE Enrollment️ Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams️ Perform physical exams, order labs/tests, and maintain systematic documentation️ Lead supervision of health and treatment programs developed by the teamQualifications: Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine RequiredBoard Certified or CAQ in Geriatrics Highly PreferredActive Indiana Medical License (or willingness to obtain) RequiredBLS, DEA, CDS certificationMinimum 1 year experience with frail/elderly population RequiredSupervisory experience RequiredClean malpractice history Highly PreferredCompensation & Benefits: Salary range: $280,000 (based on experience)Tuition reimbursementComprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision insurancePaid Time Off403(b) Retirement PlanProfessional dues and association fees covered️ Malpractice insurance covered️ Travel expenses reimbursedCME allowanceRequirements:Board Certified or Board Eligible RequiredDEA and CDS certification verification at startValid Indiana license or ability to obtainClean malpractice and license historyProvider must be willing to work permanent, not locum
