Responsibilities of the Pain Management Physician: Assess patients and inquire about their medical history. Diagnose possible causes of pain. Order lab work or diagnostic tests like CT scans or MRIs. Develop individualized care plans that include medication and rehabilitative services. Educate patients with regard to pain management and lifestyle changes.
