Full-Time Physician Assistant Near Eureka, CA Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is proud to partner with a respected healthcare provider near Eureka, CA to find a compassionate and skilled Full-Time Physician Assistant (PA). This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive, community-focused clinic setting while enjoying life in the beautiful redwood country of Northern California.Position Overview The Physician Assistant will serve as a clinic medical provider, performing both clinical and administrative responsibilities. This role requires knowledge of office systems, healthcare regulations, interdepartmental functions, and insurance standards to deliver seamless patient services in a primary care setting.Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care across a wide range of patient age groups*
- Conduct physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as appropriate*
- Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and responsiveness to patients, coworkers, and supervisors*
- Support and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure quality care delivery*
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient information*
- Ensure compliance with attendance, licensure, and clinic regulations*
- Participate in staff meetings, committees, and special projects as needed*
- Assist with the development and implementation of clinic policies and procedures*
- Engage in continuous learning to advance skills and knowledge
- Possession of a valid California license as a Physician Assistant
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- DEA license (unrestricted)*
- NPI number required*
- BLS certification required
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
- Previous experience in primary care or underserved communities preferred
