Connected Health Care is seeking a Temp-to-Perm Physician Assistant (PA) for a 13-week contract with a top healthcare provider near Garberville, California. Job Description

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a clinical or urgent care setting*
  • Perform physical examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans*
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests within scope of practice*
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members*
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulations*
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, and health management

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program*
  • Active California Physician Assistant license (or eligibility for reciprocity)*
  • NCCPA certification required*
  • DEA license (or willingness to obtain)*
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required*
  • Minimum of one year of Physician Assistant experience preferred

  • Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills*
  • Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities*
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team*
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced or rural healthcare setting
