Job Description
Position: Litigation Paralegal Personal Injury (Plaintiff)Location: Corpus Christi, Tx Salary range: $75KSchedule: 100% in office, 8-5 or 9-6Overview:A highly regarded plaintiff-side law firm located in Corpus Christi, Tx is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support 3 attorneys on a busy personal injury docket. The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling individual plaintiff personal injury cases (not mass tort) and the ability to manage files independently with minimal supervision.The caseload will primarily consist of motor vehicle accidents (MVAs) and 18-wheeler accident cases in both Texas state and federal courts. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a full caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from intake through trial preparation.
- Draft and file pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence in Texas state and federal courts.
- Coordinate discovery, including preparing responses and organizing production.
- Maintain case files, track deadlines, and manage litigation calendars.
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel.
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, binders, and witness coordination.
- Order and review medical records, bills, and supporting documentation.
- Support case strategy execution in partnership with the Managing Partner.
- 5+ consecutive years of experience handling plaintiff personal injury cases (required).
- Experience using Filevine.
- Experience with individual cases (non-mass tort) strongly preferred.
- Experience with MVAs and 18-wheeler accident cases.
- Proficiency in Texas state and federal court procedures.
- Ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills, leadership qualities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
- Bilingual Spanish is preferred but not required.
