Compensation is open to market and will be based on experience.Job DetailsA boutique plaintiff personal injury law firm in Dallas is seeking an experienced Plaintiff PI Paralegal to join its fully in-office team.This role will handle both paralegal and legal secretary responsibilities and support files from inception through settlement, judgment, or trial. The ideal candidate is confident managing pre-litigation and litigation files, highly organized, proactive, and compassionate with clients.Responsibilities:
- * Manage plaintiff personal injury matters from intake through settlement, judgment, or trial
- * Handle both pre-litigation and litigation files
- * Draft correspondence, demands, pleadings, discovery, and other case-related documents
- * Request, review, and organize medical records, bills, police reports, and supporting documentation
- * Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- * Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, trial preparation, and attorney calendars
- * Maintain deadlines, litigation calendars, and organized case files
- * Assist with settlement documentation, lien coordination, disbursements, and file closing
- * Provide day-to-day legal secretary support as needed
- * Prior plaintiff personal injury paralegal experience required (4+ years)
- * Experience handling both pre-litigation and litigation matters
- * Comfortable managing files from inception through resolution
- * Strong drafting, organization, calendar management, and client communication skills
- * Able to work independently while collaborating closely with attorneys and support staff
- * Must be comfortable working fully in office in Dallas
- * Bilingual English/Spanish, spoken and written, is a plus
- * Must take ownership of files, show strong attention to detail, and bring a compassionate approach to client service
