The Pipe Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and integrity of piping systems that support oil, gas, and water processing and transportation operations. This role develops efficient piping layouts, performs hydraulic and stress analyses, reviews P&IDs and isometric drawings, and ensures all systems meet ASME, API, ASTM, and water‑industry standards. The engineer supports fabrication, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting for issues such as flow, pressure, vibration, and corrosion, ensuring full compliance with project requirements and HSE regulations.

What it takes
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license - required
5+ years experience
Experience in oil & gas and/or water piping design, facility engineering, or pipeline projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD, CADWorx, or similar; CAESAR II experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, API codes, and water pipeline design standards
Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and construction drawings
Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
