Job Position: Pipe Fitter

Location: Claremore, OK 74017

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr

Shift: 6: 00am

Standby Personnel is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter. The Pipe Fitter will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems used in industrial, commercial, and manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate can read blueprints and is experienced with pipe layout, fitting, and fabrication.

ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping specifications.Measure, cut, thread, groove, and assemble pipe according to project requirements.Install and fit carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC, and other piping systems.Lay out piping systems and determine material requirements.Use hand tools, power tools, and pipe-fitting equipment safely and effectively.Fit and align pipes, valves, pumps, and related equipment.Perform pipe modifications and repairs as needed.Assist welders with fit-up and preparation of pipe assemblies.Conduct pressure testing and inspections to ensure system integrity.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards.

QualificationsPrevious pipe fitting experience required.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.Knowledge of pipe systems, fittings, valves, and related components.Experience using measuring tools and layout equipment.Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Valid driver's license preferred.

Preferred QualificationsExperience in industrial, refinery, manufacturing, or commercial construction environments.Welding or tack welding experience is a plus.NCCER Pipe Fitter certification preferred.OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.Forklift, aerial lift, or rigging experience preferred.

Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.Ability to kneel, crouch, bend, climb, and work in confined spaces.Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
