This position is responsible for fitting, aligning, assembling, and tack welding pipe components according to blueprints and fabrication specifications while maintaining strict quality and production standards.The ideal candidate has strong pipe fitting experience, can work independently, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality assemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Required Experience & Skills Previous pipe fitting experience required Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders Experience fitting and tack welding pipe assemblies independently Knowledge of pipe fabrication, layout, and assembly techniques Ability to accurately use tape measures, levels, squares, and other precision measuring tools Experience operating hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment safely Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable transportation and dependable attendanceEssential Duties & Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and production work orders Fit, align, and assemble pipe, fittings, and related components according to specifications Tack weld pipe assemblies in preparation for final welding Measure, cut, bevel, and prepare pipe materials for fabrication Verify dimensions, fit-up, and overall quality before final welding Safely operate grinders, hand tools, and fabrication equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements Meet production schedules while maintaining high workmanship standardsPreferred Qualifications Previous pipe welding experience Experience working in industrial fabrication or manufacturing environments Knowledge of various pipe materials, fittings, and fabrication methods Familiarity with pressure vessel or process piping fabricationPhysical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift Ability to safely operate fabrication equipment while wearing required PPE Comfortable working around heavy steel, fabrication equipment, sparks, and industrial machineryWork Environment Heavy industrial pipe fabrication and manufacturing facility Fast-paced production environment focused on quality, safety, and productivity Exposure to fabrication equipment, heavy materials, industrial machinery, and shop noise Second-shift schedule with overtime opportunities available based on production needsWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay of $25.00/hour with higher pay based on experience Stable second-shift schedule with overtime opportunities Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Opportunity to work on complex industrial pipe fabrication projects Team-oriented workplace with opportunities for advancement and continued skill developmentReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PM
