Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter to join our team on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting, aligning, and tack welding pipe assemblies according to blueprints and specifications. Candidates must be able to work independently, read drawings, and ensure quality and accuracy throughout the fabrication process.

ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.Fit and align pipe, fittings, and components to specifications.Tack weld assembled pipe components prior to final welding.Measure, cut, bevel, and prepare materials for assembly.Verify dimensions and quality of completed work.Operate hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment safely.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.

QualificationsPrevious experience as a Pipe Fitter required.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.Experience fitting and tacking own pipe assemblies.Knowledge of pipe fabrication and layout techniques.Ability to use measuring tools and fabrication equipment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred QualificationsPipe welding experience.Experience working in a fabrication or industrial shop environment.Knowledge of various pipe materials and fittings.
