Job Description

Come Join our amazing, Employee-Owned Company and become a part of the crew! Pipe Layers are responsible for assembling, connecting, and constructing pipe systems for storm drain, water, and sewer installation.

Key Duties:

Lay pipe for storm or sanitary sewer, drains, and water mains.
Utilize a grade rod to set grade.
Set and mud trench boxes.
Sets the laser at the proper grade for task at hand.
Makes sure pipe is installed at the proper grade.
Assist the heavy equipment operator in proper depth for the pipe being installed.
Ensures pipes are fitted and aligned properly per foreman.
Makes sure pipe is backfilled and chalked in properly.
Ensures that the trench has all the proper safety equipment in place per OSHA regulations.

Requirements:

Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50+ lbs.
Ability to learn grading math.
2 years' experience as a pipe layer on a site work or utility crew.
